Sunset Travel Hopeful For A Busy Weekend

The Executive Director of Sunset Country Travel believes that Northwestern Ontario will see a lot of American Tourists this spring and summer.
Gerry Cariou says this weekend will be the start of it as American’s celebrate Memorial Day.
Cariou says the possible rise in numbers can be accredited to the Canadian dollar going down and the American jobless rate.
The weather has also played a part in the number of people coming to the area, as Cariou points out last weekend was not in our favour.
Cariou adds by simply saying Mother Nature is in control of it, and there’s not much else we can do in regards to that.
