Superior Plumbing and Heating Issues Warning

Superior Plumbing and Heating is asking area residents to have their
furnace checked on a routine basis.
The Company has launched a public awareness blitz on the dangers of
carbon monoxide poisoning.
Improperly installed or poorly maintained appliances that run on
natural gas, propane, heating oil and wood could create unsafe and deadly
levels of carobon monoxide.
Dryden Fire Service Deputy Chief Ken Kurz says last year they received
an average of 1-call per month, when a carbon monoxide detector sounded.
Union Gas attended to 8 to 10 calls last year and determined the
furnaces or gas-fired hot water tanks were in need of repair or replacement.
