Support Appears Strong for Bill C-391

The Conservative Government is taking another shot at scrapping the long-gun registry.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says he seconded Bill C-391, which has been tabled in the House of Commons.
Rickford says the Bill is simplified and he can’t imagine how Northern Ontario MP’s could rationalize voting against it.
He says the million dollar question is will NDP MP’s be whipped into a vote by Leader Jack Layton.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty and Thunder Bay-Superior North MP Bruce Hyer have stated they plan to support the Bill.
Rafferty says he had some questions with the bill initially, but felt it was time to clarify his support for the bill.
