Confederation College in Thunder Bay is getting $20-million for capital upgrades.
The provincial government will be contributing $14 million to the project, while the federal government has promised $6.2 million.
College President Pat Lang says they plan to use the money to build a regional education health center.
Lang says with the new health center, they will be able to increase enrollment by another 400 students.
She notes they hope to begin construction of the new building at their Thunder Bay campus by this August.
