Support For Regional Office Grows

The Minister of Veteran Affairs will be hearing more calls from Northern Ontario communities.
Kenora City Council has passed a resolution to lobby Julian Fantino to keep the nine Veteran Affairs offices around the country open.
Councillor Ron Lunny says it`s important to stand up for the Thunder Bay office.
Lunny says it’s the only place in the northwest that vets can turn to for support.
The resolution will also be passed along to Fantino, Kenora MP Greg Rickford, NDP MP John Rafferty, and Green Party MP Bruce Hyer.
