Dates and locations of H1N1 flu shot clinics across the Region will be announced next week.
Northwestern Health Unit Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jim Arthurs says the vaccine will be both safe and effective.
He says all residents 10-year’s of age and up should receive 1-dose of the vaccine, while children from 6-months to 9-years of age should get 2-half doses, at least 21 days apart.
The vaccine for pregnant women likely won’t be available until early November.
