Still No Greyhound Solution

The Federal and Provincial Government’s have agreed to set up a special committee to look at busing issues right across Canada.
The Ministers met Thursday and said deputy transportation ministers from each province would be asked to come up with possible recommendations.
Manitoba Transport minister Ron Lemieux says there wasn’t any consensus on whether government’s should subsidize Greyhound.
The company is threatening to withdraw service in Northwestern Ontario in December unless the federal and provincial governments come up with a $15-million subsidy.
