A world renowned expert spoke in Dryden today about gang violence in First Nations communities.
Dr. Mark Totten works with groups across Canada in the areas of gangs, sexual exploitation, trafficking and crime prevention.
Totten brought up a number of issues, and says local groups need to work together.
He says if something drastic isn’t done right away to address things like poverty, unemployment and violence on reserves then the problem will be magnified.
