Electricity Bill Changes Introduced In Ontario

There will soon be a different look to electricity bills in Ontario.

Starting on November 1st, customer bills will show the true cost of power and include a new Ontario Electricity Rebate as a separate line item.

Energy Minister and Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford says the changes bring more transparency to one’s electricity bill.

Under the previous Liberal government, the rebate was built in to the price-per-kilowatt-hour line on statements.
