Police Lay Murder Charges In Deer Lake
The Nishinawaki Aski Police and the OPP have upgraded charges in the death of a 37 year old Deer Lake man.
35 year old Lenroy Kakegamic was initially charged with agravated assault in the death of Lee Conroy Kakekagumick.
As a result of a post-mortem completed in Toronto this week, the accused now faces a charge of first degree murder.
The investigation is being continues by NAPS and the OPP’s Northwest Region Crime Unit and Criminal Investigation Branch.
