French Schools To Strike Next Week
More strike action is planned next week, this time with the union representing Ontario’s French-language teachers.
A one day closure will be taking place at participating French schools on Thursday the 13th.
This includes École catholique de l’Enfant-Jésus in Dryden, École catholique des Étoiles-du-Nord in Red Lake and École Immaculée-Conception in Ignace.
The union, the Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO), says parents are urged to make alternate arrangements for child care.
The AEFO also says one-day strikes will occur weekly.
