New Leader

The federal Conservatives will name a new leader early this Summer.

A party committee says the Leadership race will end on June 27th and the new leader will be announced the same day in Toronto.

Co-Chair Dan Nowlan says members stated they wanted a shorter leadership election and this date provides the right amount of time.

In order to vote, you must hold a Conservative Party membership.
