Tania Cameron Pleased with NDP Selection

Tania Cameron is fully supporting the selection of Nycole Turmel as interim leader of the Federal NDP.
Cameron says she has always been impressed by Turmel and believes she’s the perfect fill-in.
The Kenora Riding representative is in Ottawa for the NDP National Council meetings, where Turmel was overwhelmingly elected as the temporary replacement for ailing Jack Layton.
Cameron says the two day’s of meetings were kicked off by an inspirational Skype call from Layton.
She notes the mood at the NDP Council meeting was positive and powerful.
Cameron says Layton urged the party to move forward on several issues including protecting seniors and families.
