Taxes on the Rise in Ear Falls

Ear Falls residents will see a 5% increase on their next tax bill.
Mayor Geoff McLain says the Town is facing difficult times as they only generate $1.1 million in taxes.
McLain says they have been forced to deal with increased costs for Land Ambulance services and Homes for the Aged.
The budget also calls for cost reductions in every department and a halt to travel for all Municipal workers including the Mayor.
Ear Falls water and sewer customers will also be paying more starting October 1st.
