Officials at Tbaytel are crossing their fingers that the next Amber Alert will reach all of its cell phone customers.
Spokesperson Katie Crowe says the problem that prevented this weeks message from alerting all local phones appears to have been fixed by engineers.
Crowe says they are confident that all alerts will now work as expected moving forward.
However, she admits the only way they will now for sure is when the next Amber Alert is issued.
This weeks regional alert was received on smart phones in southern Ontario, but it didn’t reach many Tbaytel customers here at home.
