Buckle up Dryden, Tbaytel Fibre is coming to you.
Tbaytel made the announcement at Dryden City Hall where they say the speed of their network should be 10 to 20 times faster than current options.
President and CEO of Tbaytal Dan Topatigh says these speeds will prepare Dryden for the future.
Topatigh also says the options they will make available will be similar to the ones they recently input in Fort Frances.
He also mentions this will be the first fibre-optic network for Dryden.
Councillor Martin MacKinnon also attended the announcement and says bringing fibre technology into the area will be beneficial for both businesses and residents.
MacKinnon also says by introducing better internet services, it puts us on a more level playing field with other parts of the country.
