Tbaytel says they are prepared for the advertisement change for the Super Bowl.
The distribution company isn’t concerned after the announcement from the CRTC to not replace the American commercials with Canadian ones after the end of the 2016 NFL season.
Spokesperson for Tbay Tel Katie Crowe says they will have no problems with the change.
Crowe goes on to say the only problem they could face is if they encounter a technical error.
The decision made CTV unhappy since they have the Canadian rights to broadcast the Super Bowl and are said to average almost $200,000 for 30 second ads.
