There is a big move planned for this weekend which will have an impact across the region.
Plans are in place to start moving patients into the new $200 million Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre at Golf Links & Oliver Rd across from Lakehead University.
The 1st 120 patients will be moved from Port Arthur General on Sunday, while folks from McKellar will transfer on Monday.
The new emergency room opens Sunday night & a new medical school will open next year.
