Teacher Talks

It could be the end of September or early October when the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board sits down with its Elementary and Secondary teachers.
Chief Financial Officer Dean Carrie says money was set aside for negotiations in the recently approved budget.
Both contracts expire on August 31st and Carrie is hopeful that a deal can be reached.
All 3 parties sat down briefly in June to kick-start negotiations.
