Teacher Talks Back On

Negotiations between the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and
Elementary Teachers resume Thursday.
Despite voting in favour of strike action, local Union Rep Peter
Andrusco says talks have been going well.
Meanwhile, the Rainy River District School Board maintains that
negotiations with its teachers are running smoothly.
Trustee Ron McAllister says there are no outstanding issues on the
table at this time, stating the topic of teacher preparation time is directly
tied to Provincial funding.
