Dryden’s Ian McMillan and the Jason Gunnlaugson rink remain perfect at the Boost National Grand Slam of Curling in Sault Ste. Marie
Gunnlaugson scored two in an extra end on a double take out to record an 8-6 win against Kevin Koe of Calgary.
They are now 3-0 and first in their pool.
The Winnipeg team will get some rest and watch the rest of the field as they don’t play until the final draw of the Round-Robin Friday afternoon at 3:00 central against the Greg Drummond rink from Scotland.
Drummond is winless and a win for Gunnlaugson will clinch a playoff spot.
