Teen Gambling Problem

Chances are your kids know more about gambling than you do, according to the Responsible Gambling Council.

March is Problem Gambling Prevention Month and the Gambling Council will visit Fort Frances on March 5th to encourage parents to talk to their teens about gambling.

Research shows the younger someone begins to gamble the more likely they are to develop a problem.

An estimated 40 per cent of Ontario youth aged 15 to 17 are involved in gambling.
