Teenager Seriously Hurt In Collision

Dryden OPP say a 15-year-old boy from Frenchmans Head had to be airlifted to hospital in Thunder Bay after a motor vehicle collision Saturday morning.
Police say a car was struck by an eastbound cattle truck as it pulled out onto Highway 17 from Wellington Street in Wabigoon.
The driver and another occupant of the car were taken to Dryden Hospital with minor injuries.
The third occupant of the car, 15-year-old Allen Yerxa had to removed from the car with the jaws of life.
The Wabigoon and Dryden Fire Departments assisted in the process.
The boy’s condition is unknown at this time.
Police say the driver of the car, from Lac La Croix First Nation, has been charged with failing to yield while the driver of the truck, from New Brunswick, has been charged with speeding.
