Telling a Lie Results in Arrest

A 43-year-old Sioux Lookout man has been charged with public mischief for telling what he thought was a tiny little fib.
Greenstone OPP were approached by 2-people stating they had picked up a hitch-hiker who told them he was robbed at gun point by 4-white men in a red truck.
That launched an investigation and OPP discovered the man’s story wasn’t true.
Raymond Beardy remains in custody.
