CN Rail has a tentative agreement with the union representing workers in Canada who inspect, maintain and repair the company’s track, bridges and structures.
The four-year deal with the United Steelworkers Union renews a contract that was to expire at the end of this year.
The 3,000 workers impacted must still ratify it with the results of the vote expected by the end of January.
