Terry Fox Runs Raise Thousands

The 24th annual Terry Fox Run was a huge success in Dryden.
Organizers were aiming for more than the 40 participants from last year and they went way beyond that.
149 runners, walkers, bladders, cyclists and even 1 man in a motorized scooter helped raise the most money ever, a total of $7,262.15.
Ignace had 32 people out for their run, 5 more that last year and raised just under $7,000 while in Red Lake 97 took part bringing in $14,5000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
