Local Reation to Airline Dispute

A spat between a small East Coast Airport and Air Canada could change the shape of the Airline industry down the road.
The 2 sides continue a legal battle after the Sydney, Nova Scotia attempted to shutdown its 2 Air Strips after Air Canada reduced service to the community.
Dryden Manager George Friesen says the dispute is the first of its kind in the Country but notes it has been brewing.
Friesen says certain standards were set when municipalities were given control of the service.
He notes Airport brass have to ensure they are making money and adds the dispute could have a trickle-down affect down the road.
