The Superintendant of Education for the Rainy-River District School Board is pleased grade 3 and 6 students have made improvements on provincial reading, writing and math tests.
Terry Ellwood says a school improvement plan is in place so students will perform even better.
Ellwood the prositive results can be attributed to School Board staff and curriculum.
He also credits the hard work of teachers who have learned specific strategies in teaching reading and math which were not available until recently.
