Trustees with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will likely begin the process of finding a new Director of Education early in the new year.
Dave McLeod announced that he will be retiring at the end of August 2003.
Board Chair Barb Hancock says while they have discussed finding a replacement, they will take a closer look at the position starting after the Christmas holidays.
Hancock says they want to consult parent councils in each school to get an idea of what kind of traits they feel the new Director should possess.
