The Battle Continues Between Dryden and MPAC

The on-going battle between the City of Dryden and Municipal Property Assessment Corporation isn’t cooling off in the new year.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says both sides are both far apart in negotiations to secure a fair formula.
Nuttall says current assessments are unfair and MPAC has to change.
He says MPAC is “totally out to lunch” on its property value calculations.
Nuttall says they are making little headway on the issue.
He adds current assessments are bankrupting Ontario municipalities.
