The federal government says Canadian families will see some extra tax relief this year.
It includes an increase in the Universal Child Care Benefit to $160 a month per child.
Canada Revenue Agency’s Soya Oh says there’s also a new family tax credit of up to $2,000 to eligible couples with children under 18.
Oh adds the Children’s fitness credit has also been increased.
