Canadian Blood Services and over 800 Ontario Public Service Employees Union members are in contract talks.
The union has released a newspaper ad and YouTube video.
OPSEU Spokesperson Laurie Miller says the company is trying to make their employees a part time workforce.
A Canadian Blood Services official says since they are in negotiations, they’re not able to speak to the details of a potential agreement; however, their goal remains to maintain the safety and reliability of Canada’s blood system.
