Premier Kathleen Wynne is talking positive about her meeting Monday with Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Wynne says it was a wide ranging discussion that included the proposed Ring of Fire mining development here in the north, specifically the provincially created Development Corporation and agreed there is need for federal representation on the newly formed Development Corporation.
She says it was encouraging for her that the discussion was taken to the next level and feels optimistic about the federal commitment to the giant project.
Wynne says she and the prime minister were also able to agree to work together to ensure access to clean drinking water in First Nation communities in the province.
