Theatre Seventeen Production Opens Wednesday

Theatre Seventeen’s production of Calendar Girls opens this coming Wednesday at the Centre in Dryden. The play is based on the true story of a group of middle-aged W.I. members at a church in England who posed nude in a calendar to raise money to combat cancer. Auditions for the production were so strong, that the play has been ‘double cast’ with one group performing Wednesday and Friday and another Thursday and Saturday. Following the story, members of the Dryden cast will be featured in a “Dryden Calendar Girls” calendar that goes on sale opening night. Tickets are available at the centreonline.ca
