A health assessment for Attawapiskat Chief Theresa Spence will determine how she ends her 43-day hunger protest.
Organizers say she went to hospital last night to be checked out after six weeks without solid food.
A health report is due this morning.
A plan for a sunrise ceremony at the teepee on Victoria Island near Parliament Hill was scrapped.
But other ceremonies planned throughout the day are still
expected to go ahead.
