Thief River Falls Names New Head Coach

The Thief River Falls Norskies have found a replacement for coach Cole Workman.

The SIJHL team has hired Wilson Housley as their new bench boss.

The 26-year-old played for the 2010-11 Bill Salonen Cup champion Wisconsin Wilderness, where he finished fourth in team scoring.

Housley recently played for Arizona State University and earned 50-points in two seasons.

He has also trained elite players aged 13 to 21 for six years in Stillwater, Minnesota.

Wilson is the son of NHL Hall of Fame player Phil Housley.
