Missing Southern Ontario Man May Be In Northwest

The public is being asked to be on the lookout for a missing man who may be in northwestern Ontario.

Police have not confirmed but there have been reported local sightings on social media on the whereabouts of Douglas Ardis.

Ardis is 24-years-old and was last spotted June 6th outside a gas station and liquor store in the southern Ontario village of Dundalk.

His silver Ford F150 truck and black enclosed trailer are also missing.

His family says they are concerned because it’s truly out of character to be out of contact.

Ardis is 5-foot-8, 195-pounds, with a stocky build, light brown short hair and wears glasses.

He has hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball hat, possibly a dark Tough Duck jacket, blue jeans and brown Blundstone work boots.

The licence plate on his F150 truck is AW25234

Police in the Shelburne area are investigating his disappearance.
