The Provincial Government is looking at ways it can improve the economy of Northern Ontario.
The Ministry of Northern Development and Mines is hosting a one day summit in Thunder Bay Tuesday called ‘Think North’.
Spokesperson Cal McDonald says the goal is to develop short and long term plans to help the economy.
McDonald says they will be bringing a number of international speakers to share their ideas.
He adds the input gathered at the summit, and 13 other regional sessions, will be used to help draft a Northern Growth Plan this Summer.
