The third intake period for the Sustainable New Agri-Food Products and Productivity funding program is officially open.
The initiative supports northern Ontario agriculture and food producers, businesses, collaborations, communities and First Nations.
Andrea Habinski is with the Cloverbelt Local Food Coop and says the second intake period was well received noting that they had a lot more producers across a larger distance in Northwestern Ontario apply.
The fund supports projects related to new products, season extension and program expansion.
