A tough weekend for the Kenora Thistles Midget Hockey team at the League Showcase event in Portage La Prairie.
The Thistles fell to the Winnipeg Wild 6-3 on Saturday and dropped a 2-0 decision to the Yellowhead Chiefs Sunday.
Kenora only managed a total of 21-shots over the two games.
Dryden’s Sam Brunton had a goal and an assist, while Ben Hackl added a penalty shot goal.
