The Kenora ‘AAA’ Midget Thistles shook off the long bus trip to Thompson, Manitoba Friday night and skated away with a 4-1 win over the Norman Northstars.
Dryden’s Sam Brunton and Ben Hackl each recorded an assist as did Sioux Lookout’s Dylan Bertrand.
The rematch is Saturday afternoon.
