The Ministry of Natural Resources was busy during a recent three-day enforcement .
From June 22nd to 24th conservation officers from Kenora, Red Lake and Fort Frances conducted stops on Lake of the Woods.
120 resident anglers and 747 non resident anglers were stopped.
A total of 28 charges were laid and 56 warning were given out.
Some of the charges and warnings were for having an over limit of fish, fishing without a license, illegal use of barbed hook and keeping fish of a prohibited size.
