Three New Portfolios for Kenora MP

Greg Rickford’s plate has suddenly become extremely full.
The Kenora Conservative MP has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, Secretary to Canadian Northern Economic Development and Secretary for FedNor.
Rickford admits he was caught off guard with the announcement, but suggests its the next best thing to a seat on Cabinet.
Rickford says he’s overall pleased with the selection of Parliamentary Assistants.
He adds he’s always had a passion for issues in the Arctic as well as aboriginal concerns.
Rickford also looks forward in making FedNor bigger and better.
