Three People Without A Home Following Fire

Monday’s fire at the Willard Lake Resort, between Vermilion Bay and Kenora, has left three people without a home.
The three just got off the streets and found jobs and a place to stay at Willard Lake.
Gidgit Hooper-Pemmican is doing everything she can to help them find new living arrangements.
Hooper-Pemmican says it’s a tough situation as they were working their way out of homelessness.
She is asking landlords across the area to come forward if any units are available.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
