Northwestern Ontario was hit with a brief storm Wednesday which caused damage across the District.
Lightning and severe wind knocked down and split trees in the Dryden area.
The storm also blew a portion of the roof off the Thunder Bay airport and shut down the terminal.
The debris landed on at least 18 cars in the parking lot, crushing several vehicles, and took out a lamppost.
No one was injured.
The incident has not affected airport operations.
