Thunder Bay Business Hopes For Worldwide Connections

In area business news, Midcontinent Terminal’s Project Co-ordinator wants to be the place the world comes to for warehousing and transportation services on Thunder Bay’s waterfront.

Matej Rodela is pleased with their ability to connect local business with the rest of Canada.

The property was bought about five years ago, with the Project Co-ordinator aiming to connect the Great Lakes Seaway to the rest of North America.

With Thunder Bay being the furthest port inland ships can travel, the Terminal also wants to be the place for manufacturing needs.

He also hopes any businesses, from scrap metal to mining companies, consider the property on Maureen Street. (File Photo)
