The SIJHL has named Kenny Turner the Player of the Week.
The captain of the Thunder Bay North Stars recorded eight points in three victories over the weekend against English River.
The big day for Turner was Sunday when he scored once and added three assists in a 5-3 come from behind win.
Turner is currently riding an eight-game point streak and now sits seventh in overall scoring.
Troy Williams of the Ice Dogs and Matthew O’Neill of the Miners also received consideration.
