Time for Change?

Northwestern Ontario communities should start thinking about moving
away from forestry and lumber and instead concentrate on information
technology and cultural tourism.
That message from former Winnipeg Mayor Glen Murray who spoke to local
politicians including Dryden Mayor Anne Krassilowsky this week.
Murray feels Municipalities in this Region have the resources needed
to thrive in the new world economy.
He says Municipal involvement in major civic projects is another
good way of building local economies.
