The clock is ticking on taking advantage of the Aviva Community Fund.
Project ideas will be accepted until 5 o’clock Monday afternoon.
Julia Oudeh says any municipality, organization, non-profit group as well as others can submit an idea or project that they believe will positively impact their community.
Oudeh notes the fund looks for projects focused on the environment, health, education, skills training, research or community revitalization.
More than $1-million in total funding has been made available.
Oudeh notes public response for the initiative has been positive.
You can learn more by listening to Northwest Monitor on CKDR Sunday morning, immediately following the 9:00 news.
