Time Running Out to Obtain Recreational Card

September 15th marks the day all operators of powered recreational vessels need to obtain a Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
The Federal law was passed in 1999 but will be enforced starting this Fall.
An estimated 6.5-million still need to get their cards before the deadline.
Boat Smart Canada President Cameron Taylor says they need to test boaters to enhance safety.
